Pennsylvania American Water announced today that the walking path around the Lake Scranton reservoir is temporarily close to pedestrian traffic effective immediatelyThe entire path is closed until further notice due to icy conditions along the trail.
Customers are reminded not to walk around closed gates or fencing to access the path.
The path has been closed from Route 307 to the access at Lakeview Drive since early November to replace a water line that runs along the trail. Work is still underway in that area and is expected to be completed this year.
