DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED:
Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Saw Creek

SCRANTON, Pa. (March 29, 2025) – Pennsylvania American Water announced this morning that the boil water advisory for customers in Saw Creek Estates has been lifted. Customers were notified on March 27 of a main break that affect a storage tank, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the issue has been resolved.
This notice applies to a customer population of approximately 550 along the following streets:
- Stafford Drive
- Braintree Drive
- Kirkham Road
- Lancaster Drive
- Windemere Road
- Dunchurch Drive
- Alford Court
- Plymouth Court
- Welford Court
- Carnforth Drive
- Bexhill Court
- Appleby Court
- Wickes Road
- Sugar Mountain Road W
- Mars Drive
- Mercury Drive
- Saturn Drive
- Walnut Trail
- East Court
- Evergreen Drive
- Kangaroo Court
- Wyndling Way
- Maple Drive
- Pine Lane
- Rustic Acres
Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on March 27 and 28, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
