Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Valley Forge Crossing Mobile Home Park in Lower Providence Township
Norristown, Pa. (June 7, 2025) - Pennsylvania American Water announced this morning that the boil water advisory for customers in the Valley Forge Crossing mobile home park has been lifted. Customers were notified on June 5, 2025 that the malfunction of a chlorine pump may have inhibited sufficient disinfection of water delivered to customers. The pump has been fixed and the issue resolved.
This notice applies to approximately 37 customer connections in the Valley Forge Crossing mobile home park of Lower Providence.
Customers affected were limited to the following streets as indicated by the map on right. The streets are:
- Audubon Drive
- Butcher Drive
- Evelyn Lane
- Nancy Drive
- Nester Drive
- Trout Lane
- Valley Lane
- Woodland Lane
Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on June 5 and June 6, 2025, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory. Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event.
