Chattanooga, Tenn. (October 28, 2025) –Tennessee American Water is awarding $17,000 to multiple fire and rescue agencies in the area through the Company’s 2025 Firefighting Support Grant program. The grants provide supplemental funding to emergency responders for items such as critical equipment, training, and community education.
“Tennessee American Water is proud to support our local fire and rescue first responders through our Firefighting Support program,” said Grant Evitts, president of Tennessee American Water. “We deeply appreciate their dedication to protecting and serving our communities in emergencies.”

- City of East Ridge Fire Department
- Elder Mountain Volunteer Service, Inc.
- Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department
- Town of Lookout Mountain TN Fire Department
- City of Red Bank Fire Department
- Signal Mountain Fire Department
Northwest Georgia
- Catoosa County Fire Department
- Lookout Mountain GA Police and Fire Department
- Walker County Fire Rescue
Sequatchie Valley in TN
- Crossroads Fire and Rescue
- Haletown Volunteer Fire Department
- Jasper Highlands Volunteer Fire Department
- Sequatchie Area Volunteer Fire Department
- West Valley Volunteer Fire Department
- Whitwell Volunteer Fire Department
