Boil Water Advisory Lifted For Portions Of Pennsylvania American Water’s Clinton County Service Area

Woolrich, Pa. (February 21, 2026) Pennsylvania American Water announced this morning that the boil water advisory for customers in portions of its Clinton County service area has been lifted. Customers were notified on Feb. 16th, 2026, that during a routine inspection, a condition requiring a precautionary boil-water advisory was identified at one of our water storage facilities. This issue has been resolved.

This boil lift notice applies to approximately 1,000 customer connections in Avis Borough and portions of Pine Creek Township, Clinton County.

Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on Feb. 19, 2026, and Feb. 20, 2026, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.

Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with others in the affected areas listed above.
