Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Pennsylvania American Water Customers in Portions of Kingston Township, Luzerne County
SCRANTON, Pa. (April 10, 2026) – Pennsylvania American Water announced this morning that the boil water advisory for customers in a portion of Kingston Township has been lifted. Customers were notified on April 6, 2026, of a water main break that caused a loss of positive water pressure in the system which is supplied by a storage tank, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the issue has been resolved.
This notice applies 50 customer connections in Pennsylvania American Water’s Huntsville system in the following locations:
Kingston Township
- Lantern Hill Road
- Timber Grove Road
- Moorgan Ridge Circle
Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on April 8, 2026 and April 9, 2026, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
