Wanaque Feeds the Hungry receives $1,000 donation through New Jersey American Water's "Mayor's Charity of Choice" raffle
CAMDEN, N.J. – JULY 22, 2026 – New Jersey American Water donated $1,000 to Wanaque Feeds the Hungry, a nonprofit organization that has spent more than 30 years helping neighbors facing food insecurity, ensuring that no one in the Wanaque community goes hungry.
Wanaque Feeds the Hungry was selected as the beneficiary of this donation through New Jersey American Water's "Mayor's Charity of Choice" contest at the New Jersey Conference of Mayors, where Wanaque Mayor Daniel Mahler won a raffle giving him the chance to choose a local nonprofit to receive $1,000.
