Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Pennsylvania American Water’s Boggs Township service area in Centre County
BOGGS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2026) – Pennsylvania American Water announced that the boil water advisory for customers in its Boggs Township Water District, Centre County, has been lifted. Customers were notified on October 5, 2026, of the loss of positive water pressure, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the issue has been resolved.
This notice applies to approximately 25 customer connections in Boggs Township.
Samples were collected on October 6 and 7, and acceptable test results were received on October 8, 2026. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with others in the affected areas listed above.
