BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED
MCMURRAY, Pa. (June 13, 2026) – Pennsylvania American Water announced today that the boil water advisory for customers in portions of the City of Clairton has been lifted. Customers were initially notified on June 7, 2026, following a loss of power to a booster pump station that resulted in a temporary loss of positive water pressure to a water storage tank. This issue has been resolved.
The boil lift notice applies to approximately 1,500 customer connections in the City of Clairton within Pennsylvania American Water’s Valley District.
Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on June 11, 2026, and June 12, 2026.
Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event. Customers are encouraged to share this information with others in the affected areas listed above.
