Tennessee American Water Announces New Appointments to Operations Leadership Team

Chattanooga, Tenn. (February 6, 2026) — Tennessee American Water today announced the appointment of Keith Hillard as Vice President of Operations and Megan Catalina as Director of Operations, strengthening the company’s leadership team and reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and customer service across the state.

Keith Hillard was named Vice President of Operations for Tennessee American Water, effective January 19, 2026. In this role, he will oversee statewide operations, including water quality, health and safety, project management, and the delivery of efficient, high‑quality service. He will report to Grant Evitts, President of Tennessee American Water.

Hillard brings nearly four decades of industry experience to the role. He began his career with Pennsylvania Gas & Water in 1987 and joined Pennsylvania American Water in 1997 as a crew leader. Over the years, he advanced through leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Operations for the Chattanooga district, where he oversaw day‑to‑day distribution operations and managed the meter department.

“Megan and Keith are both proven leaders with deep operational knowledge and a strong commitment to our customers and employees,” said Grant Evitts, President of Tennessee American Water. “Their experience and leadership will help ensure we continue delivering safe, clean and reliable water service across Tennessee.”

In addition, Megan Catalina has been appointed Director of Operations for Tennessee American Water and will report to Hillard. In her new role, she will lead water treatment, production, field operations, and maintenance activities statewide.

Catalina most recently served as GIS Manager, supporting operations across Missouri, California, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Hawaii. In that role, she led regional GIS operations, optimized workflows, and implemented initiatives that improved efficiency.
